Aerith modeled by me
Minor photo edits by me

I know I always put "minor photo edits done by me" but I'm not entirely sure what to put since I did crop the picture a bit and touched up the picture a little bit since *Greyroamer is always so awesome to allow me to leave the photoshoots with the Raw photos. ^_^ Plus, I do edit a bit differently than *Greyroamer does so I want people to think my bad editing is his since he is after all an awesome photographer. :)

You are very photogenic and get into the cosplay very well, but I'm gonna put on my nerd glasses and say Aeris...

Thank you. And Uh huh...Let me "push up my nerd glasses." Aerith is the correct spelling also the correct pronunciation. If you really want to pronounce and spell it that way, do the same for Sephiroth, it would be Sephiros by that logic. Or better yet, The way it's pronounced in Japan is Earisu, or how about Sefirosu or Kuraudo? Most names in the Final Fantasy series are of foreign origins. The Japanese don't have The TH sound or the L sound in their language so it TH=SU L=R. So with the Japanese pronunciation, they are are pronouncing it as close as they can to "Aerith" or "Cloud." ANd yet, I don't see people getting butthurt over the accepted spelling/pronunciation of "Cloud" and "Sephiroth." I still can't believe people are fighting over a translation error due to Sony. SquareEnix/SquareSoft had it translated as Aerith and I can't believe I actually went into this topic. I typically don't harass people for their pronunciation of things because, hey whatever, but when I get, what seems like a snarky comment about my choice of spelling for a fictional character, well, I guess I just feel the need to defend myself a little bit.

I apologize if I came across as snarky, well, Mal-intentioned snarky. Disrespect was the last thing on my mind when making that comment...

I cannot refute your counter arguments when you cited both Cloud and Sephiroth's original spellings. I guess I'm set in my ways on a game/franchise that is considered the flagship game of the Final Fantasy universe.

My only counter argument on Aeris/Aerith's spelling in the terms of your argument is that Aerith sounds like something saying I'm saying while lisping(just doesn't sound right to me...).
